50 Cent Cleared In House Fire Charge

According to a statement posted on his official website, 50 Cent has been cleared of all charges relating to a house fire at his Long Island property 12 months ago, that was being rented to his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.
The pair hit headlines in May last year (2008) after a fire destroyed the home that housed Tompkins and their son Marquise, with the rapper accused of lighting the fire and threatening to kill her, however, he counter-sued with a $20 million defamation lawsuit.
The statement on 50′s website reads:
“Back in May of 2008,50 Cent’s ex and baby mother of his son, blamed and accused 50 Cent for a fire that took place in her 1.4 million dollar home, which 50 purchased for them.
50 Cent has just been officially cleared of the house fire. The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party is found.”
