Reports that Abba are set to reform and take over some of Michael Jackson’s sold out London shows are false, band member Benny Anderson revealed on Friday night (July 3).
When asked if there was any truth to the rumor during an appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in the UK, Anderson said, “Absolutely not. No one has asked us to start with and if they did, we wouldn’t say yes.”
Jackson’s passing has left the internet buzzing with numerous stories of replacement acts for his sold out dates, with only an all-star tribute to the late King of Pop being planned, according to promoters AEG Live.
