Remember Elvis? Parents banned his music because of hip grinding! When I watch some of the music videos and listen to some of the lyrics of hit songs, Adam isn't any different than the rest of them other than being incredibly talented and not bad to look at ( and I'm a straight grandma who just loves music!)
Give him credit, this video is awesome.

LOL oh so now he's too safe. Adam just can't be everything to everyone all the time. Whataya want from me, indeed. From his first performance on Idol, he took the lyrics of each song and turned into into a distinct performance that conveyed the vibe of the song itself. And now with his own music videos, he's doing that again. The song is heartfelt and poignant, and the video captures the angst of the lyrics perfectly. Absolutely love it.

Did anyone actually bother to pay attention to the lyrics of the song? It isn’t flashy, so why would the video be? Definitely a ‘Whataya Want From Me’ situation, one that the media itself created. Either he's too much, or not enough. As if he was ever going to be a one-note performer.
If anyone also paid attention to him on Idol, he was able to both rock out and show vulnerability. I mean, one of his most memorable performances was ‘Mad World’, which was in no ways flashy or glam.
The complete lack of insight – I don't know why I bother to be surprised anymore.

Wow, Whataya want from him? Too safe? How about a performance artist who wants to match the performance with the lyrics of the song? Did you even watch him on idol? He was known for changing his look and performance from week to week to match the song. He said repeatedly that the AMA performance matched the song lyrics, and it wasnt the style of performance he was going to do for every song/performance. It seems that Adam cant win with the public….some want him to be OTT all the time, others want him to be bland. Well, he ISNT going to be the same performer all the time…you cant put him in a box, so quit trying.
The video is beautiful, and the guy has acting chops. He is uber talented and needs to learn how to deal with the HUGE expectations everyone has had of him, including many fans. He will be okay. America just doesnt know what to do with him yet.

The media explosion that followed Adam's performance after the AMA's was not needed. The only reason why it was such a huge deal is because he is gay and that is simply not right . Why is that female singers can grind on their male backup singers and no one will be upset about that, Lady Gaga (who which I also love :) ) can do anything she wants and no one will say anything about it except "Gaga does it again". Just last night at the Critic awards Sandra Bullock and Merryl Streep did a stage kiss, is there anything huge on that yet?
All of Adam's fans ,I hope, will stay Adam's fans. He's an amazing artist with an incredible voice and creates lyrics and a presence that really connects with anyone. Stay strong Adam!! We love you!

This song and video touch my heart i felt his feelings when i watch the video he's just amazing and i love the song and the lyrics are awesome i love the part when he said ''yeah it's plain to see baby your beautiful and there's nothing wrong with you it's me I'm a freak but thanks for loving me because your doing it perfectly.''Pink did a good job of writing this song and I'm glad that it was given to Adam.I think that people should care more about his voice then his sexuality to me Adam lambert is a strong person and i look up to someone like that.

a powerrful and wonderful song, performed by a tallented artist. The AMA performance was an expression of an idividual and i appreciate that more than any scripted "approved" routine, but i understand the old trying to play cool and hip with the next generation. turn over the reighns oldies performances like this belong on tv. Americans are way to uptight, which is wierd, because we are suppose to be the land of the free.

I think he is referring to a girl in the song. i know that he's gay, but he says, "baby you're beautiful there's ntohing wrong with you." then he is referring to sexuality when he says," its me, i'm a freak."

Adam Lambert is HOT….gay or not..he's a great, great singer that pours his heart and soul to each and every song he sings. I think he looks hot, hot..and I certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers…LOL I'd supply the crackers.
