Amy Poehler’s Top Five Parenting Tips

With her new show Parks and Recreation making it’s debut last week, new mom Amy Poehler has shared her five parenting tips in a new interview on The Daily Beast.  Read them after the jump.

Poehler’s new show, originally planned as a spin-off to The Office, debuted to 6.88 million viewers across the US last Thursday night (April 9), with the 37-year-old actress juggling parenthood and her career.

In the chat with The Daily Beast, Poehler dished out her top five parenting tips:

  • “Always remember your kid’s name.
  • Always remember where you put your kid.
  • Don’t let your kid drive until their feet can reach the pedals.
  • Use the right size diapers…for yourself.
  • And, when in doubt, make funny faces.”
