Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized for one night to rehydrate, her father Mitch has confirmed, as the troubled singer continues her treatment for drug addiciton.

Talking to the BBC, Mr Winehouse discussed his daughter’s hospital stay, saying it was needed "to rehydrate her after she’d been vomiting", a common occurance with rehabilitation.

"Everything is going according to plan and she’s perfectly OK," he said, confirming that she’d since returned to the facility.
