Amy Winehouse Not Returning To Rehab

Amy Winehouse is not returning to rehab despite reports from the British press saying she was headed back for further treatment.

"Amy has admitted she needs to check into rehab again," a source claims to The Sun.  “There are too many temptations for her in the UK — people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time.

The source continues, “Her management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel but are now looking further afield. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa.”

A rep for Winehouse, who spent two weeks in a rehab facility in January, denies the story telling Usmagazine.com that, "Amy's doing well.  She is not going back to rehab at this time."

According to the rep, the 24-year-old is "having time off, recording a bit at her home studios, about to go back into the studio properly and working towards her husband's freedom."

Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently in jail on charges of assault and conspiracy.
