Amy Winehouse Not Singing New 007 Theme

April 16th, 2008

A representative for Amy Winehouse has denied that the troubled singer will be singing the theme song to the new James Bond movie, ‘The Quantum of Solace’, due out later this year.

Rumors of the new Bond song were put to rest after her rep told People.com that "Amy has been in the studio working on songs for her new album with Mark Ronson. Recording for anything else is pure speculation."

Ronson was behind the singer’s last album, ‘Back In Black’, which helped establish Winehouse as a major international artists over the past 12 months.

The rep continues, "She just went into the studio to record with Mark two or three weeks ago. She was writing in her home studio before that."
