A spokesperson for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz has confirmed that the couple were married on Saturday (May 17), in a ceremony at her parent’s Los Angeles home in front of 150 guests.

Simpson’s father Joe performed the non-denominational ceremony for the couple, who have been dating since 2006, with celebrity wedding planner Mindi Weiss creating an ‘Alice In Wonderland’ theme.

In a statement to People.com, their spokesperson said, "We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends."

Ring bearer for the ceremony was Wentz’s English bulldog Hemmingway, and Simpson’s bridesmaid was her older sister Jessica. The 23-year-old bride wore an ivory lace wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier.

People.com also claims that Simpson "is pregnant with the couple’s first child", however, no official confirmation has been forthcoming from the pair or their representatives about Simpson’s pregnancy.
