Ashton Kutcher Jumps To Defend Michael Phelps

February 3rd, 2009

When a photo turned up in the British tabloids this week of Michael Phelps smoking marijuana, the Olympian released a statement apologizing to his fans and the public for the “inappropriate” photo – and now Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher has defended the Olympic gold medalist over the incident.

“God forbid he hit a bong,” Kutcher said in a twitter post.

“Go ask your 20-year-old kid what they did last weekend.”

The MTV’s ‘Punk’d’ host continued, “Whoever put the pic out is an a**!”

Phelps, 23, has apologized for the photo, saying he “engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment”.

While Kutcher himself claimed that he has not smoked pot “in quite some time”, he said he’s “not immune to a lapse in good judgment from time to time.”

the funny thing is, Michael Phelps has probably done more to legitimize marijuana use than anyone else ever

Hey, the guy is one hard working athlete! Let him relax once in a while! My goodness, NBA and NHL players use weed all the time with their grueling game schedules. It’s the one natural herbal remedy…..(that’s right, it’s an herb which doesn’t even fit the FDA’s own definition of what constitutes a drug)……….that does so much GOOD for people, including athletes. No one has ever died or been permanently or harmfully impaired from using it. It’s virtually non-toxic and only became illegal because renewable hemp became a threat to William Randolph Hearst’s lumber and newspaper interests, and white southerners believed it’s energizing properties meant that hard working blacks and hispanics who used it were taking jobs away from white people. These are documented historical facts. Weed was sold from the shelves of every pharmacy in America until the Feds demonized it and made white America believe that black jazz musicians would rape and puillage the daughters of white families who went out to listen to Satan’s music. And so we have this multi-billion dollar f#$%ing ridiculous “drug” war which wates our money and does nothing but employ policemen and judges that we don’t need. Indeed, the Drug War should be re-branded as the Police State Employment Act. Screw the government; screw the asses who actually believe the D.A. R.E. crap that they are spoonfed and ex[pected to believe like the lemmings they are. Oh, here’s another fact. Obama’s great idol, Lincoln, often spoke of the relaxing pleasure of hemp cigarettes while relaxing on his porch in the evening. If it’s good enough for Abe, it’s good enough for me! Legalize it NOW!
