Australians Honor Superstar Pink – With A Toilet Shrine!

Pink may be wrapping up her Australian tour, but she’s leaving a parting piece of memorabillia for devoted fans: the pop star has been bestowed the honor of having a toilet named after her, painted appropriately in a hot pink hue.
Concert venue Brisbane Entertainment Centre, which housed some of Pink’s 58 shows in her current Australian tour, has named the Door 6 female toilets ‘Pink Ladies’ in honour of the singer, who has become the biggest selling artist ever at the venue.
“To sell out 11 concerts is outstanding and Pink should be congratulated,” the venue’s General Manager, Trish McNamara, said in a statement.
“The ‘Pink Ladies’ symbolizes that success, and pays tribute to the artist for what she has achieved in Brisbane. Pink is now etched into our rock and roll history and we won’t ever forget this extraordinary feat. Pink is our number one and she is Australia’s brightest star.”
Pink was on hand last night in Brisbane to cut the ribbon on the new loo, prior to going on stage for her 10th Brisbane concert.
“By the way, if anyone needs to pee later on, I have a toilet upstairs dedicated to me. I want you all to christen it,” she told the audience during her concert.
She also tweeted, “Thanks Brisbane for my new bathroom, I hope everyone gets a chance to wee in it soon :)”
