Avril Lavigne Divorcing: Rumor Busting

A post on Sum 41′s MySpace page “strongly” denies tabloid reports that Avril Lavigne is divorcing her husband of two years Deryck Whibley.
The National Enquirer reported that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks, with Whibley allegedly seen partying without his pop rocker wife and claiming they “have been growing apart for months.”
“For the record,” the statement explains, “We strongly deny the inference of marital problems between Avril and Deryck. We also strongly deny the National Enquirer claims of any other liaisons. Deryck has in fact been traveling through Asia performing with Avril as evidenced by the numerous YouTube videos.”
