Avril Lavigne’s Dark Movie Role

Rocker Avril Lavigne is turning her attention to the acting world and is set to star in a new movie that she describes as "deep and dark."

The 23-year-old music star is taking a side step from singing following previous roles in ‘Fast Food Nation’, and ‘The Flock’ where she starred alongside Richard Gere.

Discussing her upcoming role with The London Paper, Lavigne said "I’ve got a film role coming up – something you wouldn’t expect from me, something deep and dark."

    Thats great is only makes sense, since Avril Lavigne was the best selling female artist in the world in 2007,according to “World Wide Albums”
