Battle Of The Exes At US Box Office

Former husband and wife, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, are doing battle at the US box office this long weekend, with Aniston’s ‘Marley & Me’ taking out the top spot and setting the record for the highest one-day total ever for a film released on Christmas Day.
Earning $14.8 million dollars, Aniston’s family flick beat Pitt’s ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, which came in at number two and set the record for the second highest one-day total.
Final figures for the weekend’s earnings won’t be released until early next week, however, Adam Sandler’s Disney flick ‘Bedtime Stories’ looks set to take out second place with Tom Cruise’s ‘Valkyrie’ in at number four.
