Beyonce on Jay-Z: We’re Not Perfect – But Very, Very Happy

In the lead up to the November 18 release of her new double album, ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’, Beyonce Knowles has appeared in a daring photo shoot for Gotham magazine – and discusses her marriage to Jay-Z in the accompanying article. Click to see the pics and read the story here.
During the interview for the November edition of the magazine, Beyonce mentions her relationship briefly, admitting, “This is like my first relationship. I’m very private and, of course, I don’t talk about it, but I’m very, very happy. That’s all I’ll say.”
The 27-year-old, who is in overdrive promoting her third solo album, adds, “We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush. We don’t have a normal relationship because of our careers. But celebrity or not, you go through the exact same things. We’re not perfect.”
