Beyonce Vocals Altered In Howard Stern Prank

April 23rd, 2009

Matthew Knowles, the father and manager of Beyonce, states his daughter’s vocals were “obviously altered” during a skit on Howard Stern’s radio show.  Have a listen to the prank after the jump.

The jock said he had obtained the “board mix” of Beyonce’s Today show performance from last year, before playing the audio to his listeners.

Knowles released a statement Wednesday (April 22) saying, “If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them. If no one took the time to listen to Beyonce sing ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyonce’s vocal ability, they’ve gotta be an idiot.”

He adds, “At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability. That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot. The vocals were obviously altered.”

Beyonce is an overrated project bunny regardless of this tape. Her manager daddy probably made the tape and sent it to Stern’s radio show to get Beyonce more underserved) publicity.
