Boy George Off To Jail For 15 Months

Boy George was sentenced to 15 months jail on Friday (January 16), after he was found guilty of falsely imprisoning a male escort in 2007.
The former Culture Club frontman, born George O’Dowd, admitted he handcuffed Audun Carlsen against his will, but denied he beat up the Norwegian escort after he suspected him of stealing photos from his computer.
When handing down the sentence, Judge David Radford said the singer was guilty of “gratuitous violence”, saying that Carlsen was “traumatized” as a result of the incident.
