New York-based movie stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have announced that they’re expecting twins – but if you’re looking for a baby bump on SJP, you won’t find one, as the happy couple is using a surrogate.
The couple, who have a six-year-old son, James Wilkie, whom Parker was pregnant with, announced Tuesday (April 28) that their family will be growing later this year.
“[They're] happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer, with the generous help of a surrogate,” a rep told People magazine.
“The entire family is overjoyed.”
No word on the identity of the surrogate, or her relationship to the couple, has been released.
Broderick, 47, and Parker, 44, made a joint appearance on Monday night at the Manhattan premiere of Broderick’s film Wonderful World, where the actor gushed about his fashionable wife, saying, “Doesn’t she look beautiful? I am so happy to be here tonight with her. We are having a great time.”
