Despite reports yesterday (March 16), Britney Spears is not collaborating with Madonna on her Circus tour and denies knowing the source who leaked the story.

Spears’ alleged stylist, David Alexander, broke the news to gossip sites on Monday, claiming the Material Girl will be joining the current tour for a special performance, however, Team Britney issued a denial on her official website.

“Despite rumors otherwise, at the moment Britney has no plans to collaborate with anyone in the near future at any of her upcoming performances,” the statement reads.

“PS- David Alexander is not Britney’s stylist nor have we ever heard of him.”
