Britney Spears’ rep has denied a tabloid report that she has been quietly hooking up with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

In Touch magazine claims that Spears’ father Jamie, along with her manager Larry Rudolph, have been contacting potential boyfriends for the popstar, with Paris Hilton’s ex ”the most interested in being fixed up”.

According to Spears’ publicist, Holly Shakoor, “The claims made by In Touch are completely false.  There is not an ounce of truth to any of it.”
