Britney Spears is set to release ‘If U Seek Amy’ as the third single from her album ‘Circus’, despite the song attracting attention for it’s controversial lyrics.
The track has sparked an outcry in Australia from concerned parents who are asking her record company to place a warning label on the album because when sung, the chorus sounds like “F-*-C-K me”.
The Celebrity Truth previously reported that investigations reveal Spears’ album should have at least a Level 1 warning for ‘infrequent aggressive or strong course language’ placed on the cover, however, she has bypassed the classification due to the inoffensive title.
The chorus lyrics of ‘If You Seek Amy’ are:
Love me hate me
Say what you want about me
But all of the boys and all of the girls are beggin’ to if you seek Amy.
Love me hate me
But can’t you see what I see
All of the boys and all of the girls are beggin’ to if you seek Amy.

My parents don’t have a problem because they sear 2 but there’s nothing wrong with it and it doesn’t even sound like it. It’s just another stupid media report trying 2 hurt Britney, Leave her alone she’s my idol!

This is rediculous, the song is called If You Seek Amy so there is nothing wrong with it. It should only have a warning on the cover if it had swearing in it, which is does NOT. I agree with BJ Conolly, parents do need to grow up. Anyways who cares, the song is awesome, so is the album!

Dont worry about what songs they listen to, but worry about how YOU raise them. If you have nothing else to do then make a big deal about a song GET A LIFE! I’ve been listening to rap music pretty much all my life, I HAVENT shot anyone, sold drugs, or gangbangged. So petty, just shutup and turn the radio louder when the song comes on =]

Oh no, nothing wrong at all about having very young children singing “if U see–K ah- mee” on the play ground. Do ‘em some good. There are no pervs out there that will say “she seduced me” when they are asked why they raped the 8 year old. I think all the children’s songs need a re-write…Think about “Ring around the Job, Rosie” and surely some of that Mother Goose stuff needs some work. Good for Britney…Here’s a girl who can’t sing making a career out of it! How’s that for a role model. “Sin a Song of Sex Packs”… Mother Hubbard’s running a ho house….etc.

I can not believe that so many people are defending her did anybody stop to think that maybe she did this on purpose? No she does not directly cuss in this song but any dim wit can put the pieces together and if you idiots haven’t gotten the message yet then obviously what you listen to doens’t matter. I am not saying anything against Britney herself I think she has really grown in the past couple years but this is ridiculous and I don’t care who wrote it, this is unacceptable.

Ahah! You all are funny… The song was obviously intended to make it sound like f**k me. But children are not going to be able to put two and two together unless they’re at the right age. I highly doubt a 5 or 7 year old is going to know the difference. I agree with refleckz, worry about how you raise them.. not what they listen to. This is an awesome song… back off.. get a life..
