Britney’s Cousin Didn’t Ditch Her

Britney Spears close friend and personal assistant, Alli Sims, has denied reports that she ditched her famous cousin in her hour of need during last Thursday’s drama, dismissing the claims as "ridiculous", and explaining that she was away at a "girls weekend" during the police standoff. 

According to a report in the tabloids, Sims was in New York "self-promoting" while Spears was being wheeled out of her house strapped to a gurney.

"These claims are ridiculous," Sims told Usmagazine.com on Tuesday.

"I had plans for a girls weekend… How was I supposed to predict what would happen the weekend I was gone?

"As far as having a falling out with anyone, that is simply not true. I love Britney, and care way more abut her well-being that any of these strangers making these claims."

Additionally, contrary to several media reports, Sims was not the one to break down the bathroom door to get to Spears during Thursday nights fracas. "Even if I was there," Sims says, "I would not have banged down the door with a hammer. That’s not my style."
