Britney Spears Not Abducted By Aliens, Says Rep

Following reports that Britney Spears was proposed to in a Subway restaurant in Santa Monica last week, her rep has denied all potential rumors about the pop princess including that “she has not been abducted by aliens either.”
The National Enquirer writes that 40-year-old real estate developer John Sundahl popped the question to Spears, “with a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond that he bought in a Frankfurt jewelry store.”
However, her rep tells the New York Daily News that, “Britney is not engaged, she did not get proposed to at Subway last week – she is currently on tour – she is not getting married on a farm in Germany, she did not receive a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond ring. Oh, and she has not been abducted by aliens either.”
