britney-spears-rolling-stoneBritney Spears has added a final concert date to her Australian tour schedule, so she can cap of her year-long tour by celebrating her 28th birthday “in a nice place”, promoters have confirmed.
britney-spears-rolling-stonePromoter Paul Dainty says Spears wanted to perform an extra show in Melbourne, Australia, so she can end her gruelling Circus world tour in “a nice place”, where she can celebrate her birthday on December 2.

“It is her first trip to Australia and she is really excited,” Dainty says, adding that the pop star was thrilled when tickets to her first three Melbourne concerts sold out.

“We really wanted more shows in Melbourne… so we talked at length with her management, and they thought, why not?”

Spears will play at Rod Laver Arena on November 11, 12 and 13, before she heads to Sydney and Brisbane.

The pop singer will come back to Melbourne for her final show on November 27.

“It is by far the biggest pop spectacle to be seen here in years,” Dainty says.
