Britney Spears Confirmed For UK’s X Factor

Britney Spears has been confirmed as a guest on the top-rating British version of ‘The X Factor,’ Simon Cowell’s other show when he’s not judging ‘American Idol.’
A spokeswoman for ITV announced, “She will be appearing on the show as a special guest, but we’re not confirming the date yet.”
Spears is set to release her new album ‘Circus’ in December and was expected to unveil the first single, ‘Womanizer,’ to radio last Monday, however, the song’s was delayed until Friday for unknown reasons.
Cowell added, “We’re absolutely thrilled to have her. I’ve always said this about Britney, that she’s a hugely talented person. Everyone wants to work with her because she’s a star. She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show.
“The fact that she goes a bit crazy occasionally makes her more interesting,” he adds. “And, if she wants to shave her head before she comes on the show, she’s welcome to. I don’t care.”
