Britney Spears “Extremely Upset” By Australian Media Attacks

November 9th, 2009

britney-spears-circus-promo-jiveA tour promoter has revealed that Britney Spears is “extremely upset” over attacks in the Australian media that concertgoers walked out of her show in Perth, disgruntled with her lip-syncing.

britney-spears-circus-promo-jiveThe pop princess, who’s doing a string of sold-out shows down under, has come under fire for miming at her concerts, with the New South Wales state government using Spears as an example to promote a new lip-sync warning system on tickets and promotions of concerts.

“It’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard,” promoter Paul Dainty told The Australian. “I’m so angry. We can take heat if there’s something wrong and people can review shows badly — that’s something you have to live with — but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication.”

He added, “Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it.  She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.”

I am tickets to see her preform later in the month. I know she lip syncs. I understand that her show are that energetic that it would be hard for her to sing live. I am going for the performance, not just to hear her sing. I just hope the show is the spectacular it has been made out to be. that is the only way I will be disappointed.
