Britney Spears Is Fine After Reported Hospital Scare

It’s amazing how quickly an “annual check-up” can become an “emergency room” situation in the gossip sphere. Perez Hilton sent out a message on Twitter saying Britney Spears was taken to hospital, only she wasn’t, she was just there for a check-up.

“I’m hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now,” the gossip blogger wrote. “Hope it’s nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?”

Spears’ rep was quick to jump on this one, issuing a statement saying, “Everything is fine. Britney is there for an annual physical.”
