Britney Spears was involved in a minor accident on Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Strip in Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon (May 13), after she reportedly rear-ended the motorist infront of her at a set of traffic lights.

The singer struck the SUV with her Mercedes after apparently accelerating when the light was still red.

According to reports, Spears’ bodyguard assisted the female driver of the other vehicle, who following the popstar back to her gated community in Studio City to deal with the incident, out of view of the paparazzi.
