Britney Spears In Hospital After Custody Standoff

Britney Spears has been hospitalized in Los Angeles early Friday morning following a standoff with a bodyguard of Kevin Federline, after she reportedly refused to turn over custody of her two sons.
The 26-year-old singer was scheduled to hand over sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, at 7pm Los Angeles time on Thursday January 3, however she wouldn’t allow her sons to go.
Police were called to enforce the court ordered hand-over and settle the dispute, LAPD spokesman Jason Lee revealed. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s attorney, was also seen at her residence.
According to TMZ, Spears was "under the influence of an unknown substance", with ambulances called to the scene to take the singer to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in one of three ambulances that were called to the scene, with a further nine police cars joining the convoy that transported Spears to the hospital.
One year old Jayden James was also reportedly been taken to hospital, however no details have been released regarding his condition or the reason why he was taken away.
Spears is currently under medical evaluation, with reports that her father Jamie, companion Sam Lutfi and Federline have all been seen at the hospital.
