Britney Spears was again denied access to her two sons on Tuesday (February 19), with the judge in a closed-door hearing ordering that there be no change in the current arrangement, with Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, to retain full custody.
According to Alan Parachini, the Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman, Spears will remain barred from visiting her children, even under court-monitored visits, until further notice. The popstar lost primary custody of her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, in October last year, and lost all visitation after she was hospitalized in January.
Spears‘ attorney Anne Kiley also requested a gag order to prevent attorneys from talking about the case to the media, saying that the coverage was "emotionally and physically" dangerous to the 26-year-old.
However, Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, argued that he never discusses the details of their children’s whereabouts, arguing that Spears’ concern is for the ever-present paparazzi throng that follow her every move, which existed long before her divorce to Federline.
