Brittany Murphy Dies Of Cardiac Arrest Sunday Morning

Actress Brittany Murphy has died of cardiac arrest, after her mother found her unconscious early on Sunday morning and attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.
According to a report by TMZ, the 32-year-old was found by her mother in the shower.
It has been reported that a call was made to 911 from Murphy’s Los Angeles home at 8am, and despite attempts to revive her on the way, she was pronounced at 10:04 a.m. PT Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Sally Stewart told CNN Radio.
No official word has been released from her rep or from authorities, however Murphy’s ex-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher has tweeted a message of condolence.
“Today the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany’s family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon,” he wrote.
“See you on the other side kid.”
Atlanta-born Murphy began acting at the age of 14, but shot to fame playing Alicia Silverstone’s sidekick in Clueless. She alos costarred with Eminem in 8 Mile and Girl, Interrupted with Angelina Jolie.
In May of 2007, she married director, Simon Monjack, who she worked with on White Hotel.
“Brittany Murphy was an incredible ray of Light to so many people,” Jessica Simpson wrote on Twitter. “Her smile was contagious. My prayers are with her family and loved ones.”

This is so sudden and sad. What a young soul lost!!! Not to throw out irony —but I just recently watched a movie called "The Dead Girl"…where she is the star. It is my favorite of her films….check it out! Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. God Bless. : ' (
