Rumors have been flying that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, will be made into a movie – but this unfortunately doesn’t seem to be the case, with creator Joss Whedon saying, “Not gonna happen.”
Whedon told reporters in Hollywood that Buffy returning to the big screen is “Not gonna happen.”
“Until I…make a public announcement myself that it’s going to happen, never believe anything,” he said.
The Buffy television series was inspired by the original film version, which starred Luke Perry and Kristy Swanston.
As a fellow Buffy fan, I am keeping my stakes crossed that Whedon will change his mind.
