Former Call Girl Fires Back At David Beckham

The former call girl who claims she had a one-night stand with David Beckham is hitting back against the soccer star, stating that she told the truth to a tabloid magazine.
Beckham launched a lawsuit against In Touch, who reported that he had a fling with Irma Nici, however, the mag and Nici are standing by their story.
“The former call girl who was sent to the hospital earlier this week as a result of the hounding she received at the hands of David Beckham and his legal team has struck back,” a statement from her lawyer said.
“California law does not allow public figures like David Beckham to stifle free speech. Maybe he didn’t live here in Los Angeles long enough to learn how precious we here consider our rights to tell the truth in print.”
“Beckham must have confused American law with the law back in his home country, where there isn’t a such a sacred respect for free speech.”

Why the need to insult England? what exactly has my country got to do with some prostitute being sued for supposedly lying about an affair? and he says she is lying so he is suing her..where is the attack on free speech? from what i am reading he is questioning her validity and truthfulness not saying anything about free speech. Typical when in doubt insult a nationality, i am quite sure that if i wanted to i could sit here and find fault with America but what has that to do with the story?
