Charlie Sheen On Car Theft: It’s Nice The Police Weren’t After Me

Charlie Sheen has had a little fun at his own expense after his Mercedes-Benz SUV was stolen and driven over a ravine in Los Angeles on Friday morning (February 5). Find out the details and watch a clip of the car in the ditch after the jump.
The LA Fire Department received a call about a car going over a cliff on the Mullholland Drive at about 4am (PT), as did the actor, who’s car has an internal system that calls 911 when the airbags are deployed.
Police interviewed the Two and a Half Men star after they tracked the car, some 400 feet deep in the ravine, with Sheen telling The Insider, “It was nice to have police come to my house and for once I didn’t have to leave with them.”
