Charlize Theron and acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher are developing a new crime drama series for HBO called Mind Hunter, with the actress set to take on producing duties.

According to Variety, the show is based on the John Douglas and Mark Olshaker novel Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, with Dexter executive producer Scott Buck tapped to write the pilot episode.

No air date has been announced as the series is only in the early stages of development.
