Chris Brown Assault Case Delayed

Chris Brown can breathe easy for another month, as his Rihanna assault case has been delayed until May 28 at the request of his lawyer.

The 19-year-old was scheduled to go before the court next week for another hearing but the singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, was granted the delay by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricial Schnegg on Wednesday (April 29).

According to reports, Geragos indicated to the court that he plans to file a motion to dismiss the charges against Brown after authorities allegedly leaked police photos of Rihanna’s injuries.

The next hearing will now go ahead on May 28.
