Chris Brown’s attorney has attempted once again to get his client’s case delayed, however, the California Supreme Court has refused to postpone this Monday’s preliminary hearing regarding Brown’s alleged assault of Rihanna.

This is the second time lawyer Mark Gregaros has attempted to put a hold on proceedings, with Monday’s hearing set to determine if there’s enough evidence to send Brown to trial.

Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, says that the pop star will make an appearance on the stand, telling E! News recently, “The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing. She will definitely comply.”
