CSI Star Arrested For Drug Possession

One of the stars of ‘CSI’, actor Gary Dourdan, has been arrested in Palm Springs, California for alleged drug possession, with quantities of suspected cocaine and heroin found in his car.
Shortly after 5am on Monday (April 28), a patrol officer spotted Dourdan parked on the wrong side of the street. The officer approached the actor who appeared to be sleeping, the Palm Springs Police Department said in a statement.
Dourdan, 41, was found in possession of suspected quantities of cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills, the statement said.
The actor was described as "disoriented" and possibly under the influence of alcohol and drugs, according to police reports.
He spent five hours in custody before posting US$5,000 bail. His arraignment has been set for May 28.
Over the weekend, Dourdan had attended the Coachella Music Festival, which took place in nearby Indio.
The arrest was first reported by TMZ.com.
