Dakota Fanning Not A Diva, Says Director

Reports that 14-year-old actress Dakota Fanning behaved like a diva on the set of her latest movie ‘Winged Creatures,’ have been slammed by the director of the film.
The story originated after director Rowan Woods spoke at the Australian Directors Guild conference in Sydney, Australia, earlier this month (October).
‘Everyone was on their best behavior on this film… Dakota was the only one who was naughty,” Woods is quoted as saying. ”There was something about her presence that wasn’t ringing true. Most of our work was cutting her scenes and a lot of her scenes were cut [from the film].”
However, the director has dismissed the rumors saying, “I was shocked by the totally invented quotes that have appeared on the Internet attributed to me about Dakota Fanning. These quotes do not in any way represent my opinion of Dakota, the actor or the person.
“As a director, I am proud to be associated with her great performance in ‘Winged Creatures.’ Dakota is both a great actor and an impeccably behaved teenager… She and her family have always shown great friendship and loyalty to me, and I will always defend her.”
