David Beckham’s Bodyguard Beatdown

David Beckham was involved in a confrontation with a member of the paparazzi on Sunday (December 7), with the soccer star’s bodyguard involved in a subsequent brawl with the photographer.
According to reports, Beckham got out of his car to talk to the pursuing photog, but the pap stayed put in his vehicle refusing to come out.
A bodyguard for the L.A. Galaxy captain then approached the paparazzi’s car as Beckham drove away, with L.A. police being called after a brawl erupted.
“We took a report at the scene,” Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Sgt Gregg Mader said. “But no one was taken into custody or cited. We’ll review what we have to see if further action needs to be taken.”
A rep for the Beckhams released a statement saying, “Yes, an incident did occur. However, there will be no comment as this is now in the hands of the lawyers.”
