Death On Madonna Tour After Set Collapse

UPDATE: The stage set for Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour collapsed on Thursday (July 16) in Marseilles, France, killing two people and injuring eight others.
According to Madonna’s spokesperson, Liz Rosenberg, the roof accidentally fell in at the Velodrome Stadium while the crew were piecing the show’s set together.
Madonna was given the news during rehearsal in Udine, Italy, and released the following statement:
“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”

This is terrible news and it makes you wonder why this happened and what can be done to stop this in the future. Can you imagine what Madonna must be feeling, going through her mind that if that happened while she was on the stage and how she will feel performing at that venue. My thoughts go with the family of the loss one

Possibly if tour managers got venues to provide skilled and experienced crew at venues across europe as opposed to the cheapest option
