This could hardly be called a “fight“, “war” or “clash“.  While numerous gossip blogs and news sites are looking to make something out of a supposed Twitter feud between Demi Moore and Kim Kardashian, we thought we’d examine the facts and repost what was actually said.

Here’s how the non-battle played out on the social media website:

De mi Moore: Are you using the word “pimpin” as in pimping?

KK: Doesn’t everyone? Nothing wrong with dancing to Big Pimpin’ by Jay Z in the club! Having a girls night out, gotta love that song!

DM: No disrespect I love a girls night out but a pimp and pimping is nothing more than a slave owner!

DM: if we want to end slavery we need to stop glorifying the “pimp” culture

Just so ya’ll are clear I like @KimKardashian I was just making a point about how we have used a word and desensitized the real meaning .

DM: Clearly I stirred up a s**t storm, but 2 create change U have 2 be willing 2 take a risk and be willing 2 provoke thought & conversation

KK: Good point!I agree! It was just a song not literal

DM: Thx 4 understanding!

To resolve any misunderstandings, Moore then tweeted, “Just so ya’ll are clear I like @KimKardashian I was just making a point about how we have used a word and desensitized the real meaning.”

If this is a feud, it’s one of the politest ones we’ve ever seen!!
