Demi Moore has jumped on to Twitter to comment on the ‘W’ magazine cover controversy: “Don’t let these people bullshit you!”, she writes in her trademark no-nonsense style, before posting an original version of the photo pre-airbrushing. More after the jump.
The magazine cover shows Moore with what appears to be a concave air-brushed hip, as shown here in detail by photographer Anthony Citrano.
“Her hip is clearly – and magically – ‘fused’ to the sash. This doesn’t happen organically; it happens digitally,” Citrano tells TheCelebrityTruth.com.
“Obviously a clumsy mistake.”
Moore has logged on to Twitter to comment on the controversy, where she’s proven that the entire image was obviously airbrushed – all magazine covers are, and if you look closely, you can see small changes, such as the definition (bizarrely!) air-brushed of her left arm.
It seems that editor’s didn’t actually try to make her hip look smaller, but instead, they messed around with the scarf placed on her hips – which makes her thigh look larger, and her hip look like its been chopped into.
“Here is the original image people, my hips were not touched, don’t let these people bullshit you!” she writes.
When a fan, @jayneduVall, wrote back, “U look fabulous! Just a little thin tho but in a good way :-)”, Moore responded, “Agreed, I am in the skinny side lately.”
The 47-year-old actress then displayed her usual manner of grace and humilty when she tweeted, “I love the pic and can only say I wish I had good lighting like that following me around all day!!”
The magazine has yet to comment…
Any chance they “accidentally-on-purpose” went to print with the awkwardly-airbrushed cover to drum up publicity?
Ever since balloon boy, I’ve become such a cynic…
