Desperate Housewives Cast Member Not Fired

Internet rumors have suggested recently that Nicollette Sheridan, from television’s ‘Desperate Housewives’, has been fired from the hit series, however, the actress has denied that she’s leaving at the end of this season.
With the show resuming production following the writers strike and a storm ripping apart Wisteria Lane on the show, there’s been speculation that Sheridan’s character Edie would be killed off.
The actress has addressed the stories telling US TV show ‘Extra’, "Please! Edie’s going to be causing trouble."
"The househags have done terrible, terrible things to Edie," Sheridan explains to USA Today. "There will only be one moment of true revenge when all of them are gone, and Edie remains!"
