Desperate Housewives To End Soon

‘Desperate Housewives’ creator Marc Cherry revealed on Thursday (July 17) that the end is near for the ladies of Wisteria Lane ,saying he’ll most likely wrap up the show at the end of the seventh season.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association, Cherry said, “I love working with these gals, but the idea of letting anyone else take the show from me kind of makes me sad and sick to my stomach. We’re going to get out while people still like us.”
He added, “Of course, this could be some clever ruse on my part to get tremendous amounts of money in season eight, but who knows.”
The show is about to enter it’s fifth season with a dramatic plot development that sees the series skip five years into the future.

I have watched this show from the beginning and it is one of my favorites. I would hate for it to go off of the air.
