Destiny No More For Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus, star of Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana’, has revealed that she has officially changed her name from her birth name, Destiny, to Miley Ray Cyrus, saying that her nickname, Miley, felt rather more fitting than her real name.
Discussing the change with Jann Carl from US television show ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the artist formerly known as Destiny Hope Cyrus said she wanted to make the change and add the middle name of her father, country singer and ‘Hannah Montana’ co-star, Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 15-year-old says she’s always been called Miley by family and friends, and finally decided to make it her legal name.
