DMX Jailed For 90 Days

Troubled rapper DMX was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 18 months of supervised probation on Friday (January 30), for drug, theft and animal cruelty charges.
DMZ, born Earl Simmons, has been in custody since December following a string of arrests including assuming another person’s identity and the mistreatment of animals after authorities found dead dogs at his home during a raid last May (2008).
According to Reuters, Simmons plead guilty to the charges and has agreed to not own any animals or firearms.
