Britney Spears has been involved in a screaming argument with her friend and manager Sam Lutfi outside of her Beverly Hills estate last night, prompting Spears’ parents and the LAPD to rush to the scene.
Reports state that Spears had a disagreement with Lutfi on Monday night (January 28), prompting the 26-year-old singer to drive off with a paparazzi photographer before returning to her gated community The Summit.
Spears then reportedly contacted her paparazzi boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, who rushed to console the troubled singer, who appeared visibly upset in the countless paparazzi photos and video footage of the incident.
However, Ghalib was denied access to the complex by Lutfi, with gossip blogs claiming that she feels Ghalib is a bad influence on Spears.
The paparazzo released a statement through his former employer Finalpixx, saying that he "did not try to break into Britney’s house".
"Anyone who claims that to be the case has been severely misinformed," the website reads.
"The truth is that Sam Lutfi started an argument with Britney and the two ended up in a screaming fight. Sam continued to verbally abuse Britney as she sat barefoot on the curb at her Summit home, crying holding her dog London."
The website continues, "Britney called Adnan for help and he heard the distress in her voice and drove to the Summit immediately. When he arrived, he was denied access as Sam Lutfi had informed the guards that he was not allowed entry. When Adnan then tried to call Britney, it seems that Sam had turned all of her cell phones off."
TMZ.com reports that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) were called to contain the paparazzi crush as photographer’s scrambled to catch the action.
Spears’ parents have both appeared at Spears’ house during the night to keep their estranged daughter company.
