No Early Prison Release For Lindsay Lohan – Yet

Lindsay Lohan will be stuck in jail for the foreseeable future, despite claims that she could be released as early as a few days into her incarceration, with Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore telling E! News that reports that the actress could be getting out this week are simply not true.
“Nothing has changed,” Whitmore says.
“When she was incarcerated I said a couple of weeks and it hasn’t been a couple of weeks. That turns out to be the first part of next week. It could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, something like that.”
Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, had expressed hope that officials might release the 24-year-old by the end of the week due to overcrowding.”I have my fingers crossed and Lindsay does too,” Chapman Holley told E! News upon leaving the Century Regional Correctional Facility.
