Ellen DeGeneres Hits Catwalk For New York Fashion Week

Ellen DeGeneres shocked everyone when she walked onto the catwalk during designer Richie Rich’s Spring 2011 Runway Show on Thursday night (September 9).  The talk show host and former Idol judge was there as part of New York Fashion Week.

      The clothes had a very vintage feel, enhanced by the polished bouffants and green cat-eye makeup full skirts, pinstripes and seersucker contrasting with neon details and other modern touches. All in all, it felt like what a drag queen would wear to a luncheon in Greenwich (CT, not village). Of course, a socialite would be equally at home in any of the outfits of this collection: it was distinctly couture.
