Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Get Married

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married in a small ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (August 16), their spokesperson has announced.

The couple decided to tie the knot in front of 20 family and friends, following California’s change in the same-sex marriage laws in May this year.

“Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles,” their rep told People.

The brides, who began dating in 2004, wore Zac Posen and exchanged Neil Lane rings during the ceremony held on the grounds of their Beverly Hills mansion.

      I am so happy for Ellen and Portia. My husband and I are quickly approachng 25 years (Sept 10) and I can honestly say that there is nothing better than marrying your best friend. Many happy years to the both!
